  • Nylon
  • Imported
  • Compatible with 1.75"/2"/2.25" wide duty belt/utility belt. Note: Please measure the actual length of your duty belt before purchasing, and make sure your duty belt can be adjusted by 2 inches more, since the waistline will become larger after adding a back brace. Please choose a belt pad that is close to the length of your belt. Due to manual cutting and measurement, the length error is about 2-3cm.
  • Made from reinforced 600D lightweight nylon, the inside of this back support is lined with modern spacer fabric and mesh material allowing air to circulate and keep it breathable. From being able to keep you more comfortable when you are out in the field for long shifts, help offload your carrier, to be able to provide better protection, these supports can help you stay alert and agile while you are on the job.
  • This duty belt back pad is a good back brace for law officers and is an option that you can use with your current duty setup without making changes. There are a total of 3 small Velcro straps on both end and the middle of the brace to secure the duty belt. Easy to put on and take off. The brace will fit seamlessly with the main belt setup and is not thick as not to make it bulkier. It works equally well with or without an inner belt.
  • This back support has a 1" wide hook(hard) Velcro strip in the middle of the outer side to attach to the duty belt which is lined with loop(soft) velcro on the inside. This belt pad also has a 1" wide loop velcro strip in the middle of the inside to stick to a hook inner belt. (Belt pad with soft velcro strip on the outside is also available in our store. It can be used with an outer belt with hard velcro on the inside.)
  • Place this back support on your duty belt to spread the load and relieve pain and stress on your lower back. It acts like a weightlifting belt and spreads the load over a wider area, thereby reducing the pressure per square inch. And it does not materially change the duty belt. Equipment/gear can be placed on your duty belt in practically the same way as before. Perfect for law enforcement/police/security/correctional officer in patrol work.

Q&A:
Is there velcro on the inside to stick to my inner belt?
Yes, it has a loop velcro strip on the inside to stick to hook inner belt. And it also has a hook velcro strip on the outside to stick to duty belt which lined loop velcro. There are also three Velcro straps on the outside for securing the duty belt.
Why do so many law officers have bad backs?
It’s a combination of stress of the job, equipment load, odd shapes of the gear and its holders, and postural changes caused by driving for hours at a time wearing the gear.
The hard duty belt has good equipment loading performance, but the hard edge of the belt and odd shapes of the gear and its holders will reduce the wearing comfort. Duty belt support pads are a good solution.
Load Distribution
They improve the load distribution across a larger area of your body. The pressure is more evenly distributed to create a lighter feeling that won’t strain your lower back.
Prevents Back Injuries
Having a back support will allow you to prevent back injuries while you are working.
Aligns Your Posture
It will align your posture. Holding on to one position your body chooses for long periods of time can lead to localized stress that can lead to injury. Back brace helps to reduce the amount of fatigue on your back muscles that occur from belt carry, and shifts the weight off your pressure points, distributing it more evenly across a wider area.
Compact and lightweight
Doesn’t require changing your duty belt setup
Helps to distribute weight of duty belt
You get lumbar support, weight distribution, better prevention against back injuries, and fits in your existing carrier.
It helps relieve the back pain while being on your feet all night, going up and down steps, standing or sitting a patrol car. It also reliefs pressure from equipment (i.e. handcuffs, flashlights & such) near you back.

Run small I wouldn’t recommend it’s not true to size.

Belt very narrow. I was looking for something to replace my Blackhawk padding but looks like I Will have to stick with it till they stop making it or I retire. Returned it, did not meet my needs.
