Not long lasting at all....for use either wood or metal better find something else....maybe with holes in it, it might last longer, but as is, no.

I bought these without paying attention and didn't realize they are not hook and loop. So if you attach them to you sander which is moving at a high rate in a circle and you're creating dust at the same time. Guess what happens, the minute you pull away from the wall the disc flys off and it will never stick again. I'll stick to the hook and loop ones from now on. I went through all 10 on a house and 1 or 2 should have done it.

This doesn’t have an adhesive or velcro back. Totally useless if you want to use it on a pole sander.

Used 2 of these so far, they seem to last very well. I'm using them on oak, pine maple and walnut done quite alot of sanding with them too.
