My one-year-old boy throws this with both hands and kicks it. Learned quickly after my boy saw me kick the ball. The outer shell is soft and easy to inflate. My boy loves this item enough to keep playing with it.Used another inflator that came with another product.

Pros: Use for infants up to 6 months, then switch to size 3. Inflates/deflates strong, but haven't tested it for good amount of time. However, it does show good strength.Cons: Nothing special. An overpriced outer stitching small size ball. Seen similar quality 30% less than price shown on Amazon.

As others have mentioned, this ball needs a pump and does not come with one. That is the only down side. Otherwise, it is just like a real soccer ball... but toddler sized. I absolutely love it and so does my kiddo. He is pretty rough on things and we have had no issues this far.
