I like the case, but one thing was brought to my attention after receiving it. According to canadian law a gun stored in a backpack is a concealed weapon. Our law states gun cases must resemble a gun or at very least not attempt to hide / disguise one. I see this as a suitable case for carry and transport, especially if luggage locks are added to the zippers. But I wouldn't bet on a cops ability to understand and reason this in a traffic stop or ect.

Great bag I only retuned it because I was gifted one the same day it was delivered and you try telling my Hispanic girlfriend to return the gift she went out of her way and picked up mijo and all kinds of stuff lol. Next time maybe.

For smaller items this works great, and is much easier to transport and carry than the larger bags on the market. First impressions are the quality is good, and the value was great.

This is exactly the right size for my needs. The backpack harness is very usable, a key requirement for me, and the waist belt even handles my waist size (barely). It appears to be well made.As good as it is, it could be better. It's great there is a pocket to keep the backpack straps out of the way, but why zipper it? The top end of the shoulder straps are sewn in, so the only time you use the pocket, you have to leave it unzipped.Speaking of pockets, it's got some excellent big ones. Which are great for big items. Yes, 5.56 magazines will fit if you insert them open end down. However, it's not so great for little items. There are some zippered mesh pockets which work for some small flat things, but thick small things? Not so much. I can probably get a small "organizer" pouch to go into a big pouch to provide small item storage.The rifle retention straps don't seem like they would keep a rifle from sliding side to side. They are Velcro straps which are anchored at the sides, so narrow things might slide side to side. My item is wide enough that the straps actually work adequately. If I wanted to carry a rifle in the case, the bottom strap might be adequate, and I'd try inserting the barrel between the Velcro strips to attempt stopping side to side movement.Empty, it's kind of floppy and foldy, but with a full length stiff object strapped in, it works well.Note, I only use one side, so can't speak about how well it works for two objects.

This is a well thought out and constructed bag. It has a good deal of protection and even a pad between the two sides. Extra pockets with mag retention straps as well, so you can load just rhis for the range.It fits a Keltec KS7 perfectly. Sub-2k is about 1" too long unfolded, but fits great folded.

Very impressed with this pack right out of the box. Seems to be well constructed with lots of pockets and storage options. I got it to carry my new Minelab Equinox 900 metal detector. The coils go on the bottom - put the separator down then the detector on the top layer. Batteries, pinpointer, some tools, lunch goes in the pockets. Couldn't ask for more for the price and there really isn't a detector backpack out there with the capabilities this pack has. A basic detector bag without backpack straps will cost you as much or more and have way fewer features than this one.

Same quality as anything high end you fine at a sporting good store for a fraction of the price. Lots of storage and room for additional “toys” this also replaced my range bag as it has lost of room and the add weight easily handle as the bag also turns into a backpack. When not in use all the extra straps are hidden away.
