Steps to drill clean and precise holes:
1. Place the drill at a 45 degree angle, so the drill has the chance to start and will prevent the drill slipping

I bought these to install hardware in a finished tiled shower. I drillled 4-5 practice holes though waste pieces fairly well, but by the time I got to the shower, the 6mm bit was dull. I was able to start the holes, but the bit would not cut after that. Maybe I ran it it too fast - I started slow and sped up to 1650 rpm, the max on my variable speed drill.

I had to drill sixteen 1/4” holes and other bits I used failed. I ordered a 10 pack of these and only went through two bits. They saved me a lot of time and money. After other diamond bits I used wouldn’t go through the porcelain tile I figured I had to order a ten pack to drill the 16 holes I needed. But only had to use two of the ten bits. Excellent purchase.

I bought these dry diamond bits to drill drain holes in the ceramic plant pots.They worked decently enough, but obviously are not going to last long.After three holes, the diamonds were worn off the 12mm bit.If I needed to drill holes more often, I'd spend a few more buck on better quality bits.
