At first, I thought I needed to buy the whole kit with the plate but this just slides right on. 30 second or less install. It looks nice and feels higher quality than my original BGE from the factory that felt flimsy to me from day one. Great replacement product - highly recommend!!

This is an excellent replacement for the burned out screen version originally supplied with my large Green Egg. It is easy to install and quite durable. Slide out the old, slide in the new.... that's as simple as it gets! No more ashes or charcoal bits falling on my deck. Due to it's heavy gauge construction I am certain it will last for many years to come.

This is a good replacement if you need one but the newer BGE's fixed the overlap issue.

Very easy to install. I replaced a screen door where the screen had rusted out. The new door has a solid metal slide with the holes drilled through it thus creating a screen. I believe it will last a lot longer than the other one.
