A: For regular maintenance, use one packet per 1/4 acre per week (this is enough for most pond conditions). For more serious pond issues, you can apply an active treatment by doubling the dosage (two packets per 1/4 acre per week). The maximum dosage is twice the recommended amount (two packets per 1/4 acre, twice a week), but this should not continue for more than four weeks. After four weeks, return to the regular maintenance schedule.

We use enzymes in our 1 acre pond every summer to keep it fresh and clean. When I saw Dr.Raifya's pond fresher I thought we would give it a try. For our size pond the instructions are a little confusing. It says 4 packets for a one acre, but also says one packet a week, so we'll try 4 packets once a month for maintenance. We can't begin till the water is 45 degrees and right now in Ohio it is still frozen. I look forward to seeing how well this works. When possible all natural is tge way to go.

I was getting tired of the musty, stagnant smell that would come from my backyard pond, especially when the temperature started rising. In the fall I moved the fishes and plants from my outdoor pond indoors. After several months I noticed the indoor pond was getting murky and a bit stinky. This pond refresher cleared it up in record time. Since my pond is smaller I had to open the bag and measure some out. I had to do math to figure out how much I’d need - that was the most difficult part. I’m looking forward to using this in my outdoor pond in the spring.

This product is cheaper than others. After using it, the green algae on the water surface reduced a lot, and the water became much cleaner. The natural ingredients are also safe for the fish.
