I use these to make model log cabins. Work great for my projects. The wood quality is uniform, but don't expect them to be exactly 24 in long. Metric measurements of course.

Way better quality than the dowel selection at my local big box store. Sorting through the store's dowels was a time waster trying to find 2 dozen straight pieces.The 25 hardwood dowels from Woodpeckers were all straight and excellent quality. What a pleasure using top quality dowels for a project. Highly recommend.

Very nice quality and at a great value!! Super smooth - no chance of splinters. I struggled to find some strong stakes to prop up some of my large indoor plants - that wouldn't break the bank. That was a challenge - but after hours of searching I came up with these dowels used for crafts. They are super good quality at a very good price. Although there are other products that are less expensive, research shows there may be potential problems with some of these products. These work great, are safe for plants, and there are plenty in the pack for future plants.

Product was good but i was shorted (8 of the 50 )dowels in package and had to go to home depot to fill the rest of my order. Made zero sense so next time ill just go to home depot.

The actual diameter is 7/16, and not 1/2 inch. So, it's kinda like when you buy any piece of wood or lumber, a 2×4 isn't 2"x 4".Same here with these dowels.Quality is good and seller shipped on time.The dowels are fine for my intended use, it's ok they're less than 1/2 inch diameter. And they're way less expensive than at my hardware store. But if you need exactly 1/2 inch dowels, these may not be what you need. Overall a good product, though.
