These are perfect size. You can use as plates if you wanted, but perfect size for pasta, soups, stews, chili. We use them all the time.

These are the perfect spaghetti bowls! They are very durable, none have broken yet and we use them frequently. We wash in the dishwasher and use the heat dry cycle with no issue. They have a good weight to them and feel like a good quality piece. We will buy more of these as they are very versatile!

We like cereal with various fruits for breakfast. Other bowls too small. Also use them for pasta, chef's salad. Wash nicely in dishwasher

This set is elegant & well-made and it's a bit thick and doesn't get very hot when used in microwave! It can be used for pasta and serving plates for salad and rice too. It was well packaged and delivered fast!

I just received these today and I am impressed. I like the size and shape. They are a nice white - it’s difficult to buy white things to match other white things but these are pretty close to my dinnerware. The bottoms of these bowls are quite smooth. I cannot yet rate for durability but they are a nice weight. Sure to be used a lot at my house.

I really like that these bowls are not too big but the sides are a bit deeper without being too deep. We use them all the time for sides at dinner. Nice bowls, good weight (not too heavy) and balance. I'm ex-restaurant and I give them a thumbs up for hard working bowls! Packaged well and the price per bowl is amazing!

Perfect plain white bowls to go with my different sets of dishes. I thought they were bigger. They arrived with center bowl cracked completely in half and glaze on one bowl had imperfections that QC should have caught . I agreed to Dowan's customer service refunding me for two bowls on my next purchase.

I read reviews stating people had been disappointed with the quality of these bowls, let me tell you these bowls are just perfect. I've had a few sets of bowls purchased and these are top quality. Very happy, not a single defect on any of the 6 bowls and they look and feel like far more expensive bowls.

These high-rim plate-bowls are perfect for certain entrées in that gray area between solid food and soup. They hold liquid well, but allow for the use of a steak knife. Yet they are elegant enough to serve as the main place setting. I like their lighter weight, that gives the feel of porcelain, and the smooth surface finish that’s easy to clean. The reflection in the photo implies there is a recessed area in the bottom of the bowl. No such recess exists; these are flat-bottomed bowls with curved edges—plain, simple, light weight, highly glazed, and temperature proofed (yet inexpensive)! No, I’m not associated with the manufacturer, but I am an accomplished chef and technical writer.
