These are big and pretty and perfect. You can still use them for individual salads but they’re perfect for pasta dishes too.

I love the size, the depth and the fact that I could put it in the microwave. What I am not fond of is how hot the side of the bowl gets if I don't don't place the food in the middle. I could barely hold it if at all. Also it's not that easy to clean. While washing, after putting soap, it gets slippery. I have to try not to let it drop. I have to hold the plate with the bottom facing down I can't flip it over or I will drop it. I have to soap the top then without changing position wash the bottom.

Searched high and low for the right size bowls for bouillabaisse until finally found these. They are simple, sturdy and will go nicely with other white dishes. Great size for large salads as well.

These bowls are PERFECT for so many things. I originally bought them for soup. They are nice and big so soup doesn’t splash out and burn your fingers. It sits nicely on the table. Then I started using for pasta meals. They are also perfect for serving snacks or sides. So versatile. I bought 2 sets.

I was looking for something that could hold a big side salad and not have everything fall out. This is the right size and it easy to clean. I also use them as a breakfast bowl. Definitely worth the money!

I love these bowls over plates for my meals. I use for salads or any foods not requiring cutting at the table. They are easy to carry with food inside, no sliding off a plate. Simple white shows off the colors and textures of the food beautifully. The china is smooth, they stack well in my cupboard and were easy to place in my dishwasher, either top or bottom. Simple to clean in the sink, which I often do.

These LARGE pasta bowls are perfect for when I want to have a meal-in-a-bowl yet want there to be some extra room to mix or toss the items together without it spilling over. I have some smaller DOWAN bowls also that I use for cereal/soup and am pleased with the quality of the brand. Other large-size pasta bowls are 9 inches or more in diameter, but these are only 8.5 inches, so they don't seem to take up too much space on my shelves.

These bowls are great for pasta and salads. And also for dishes like bouillabaisse (fancy fish stew). The bowls are wide, not too deep and elegant for serving dinner guests. Definitely recommend.
