I honestly can’t remember the last time. I was this happy with an Amazon purchase and especially at this price. If you were a drummer or even a new drummer, that is looking for a double kick for either regular bass or in my case, an electronic bass, this product is insanely good. As nice or nicer quality as what they sell a guitar center for about 1/3 of the price.

I am a starting in this world of drumming and I find these two pedals a little bit noisy. But I mean, for the price I guess you get what you paid.

Ok, I always give a product a good try before I even leave a review. Here we go… bought these double bass pedals as an extra set to practice at my home studio to keep my chops up. I have been playing drum for over 30 years -done it professionally and I don’t mind trying new gear. The pedals have 3 tension springs, 2 for the salve and 1 for the master. Problem #1 Once the tension springs were where I liked them I began playing -pedal clamp for bass drum kept getting loose and pedal kept shifting ( coming undone ) no matter how tight, it still happened. Problem #2 first tension spring from the slave pedal began to fall apart - literally. Spring fell off and the rest of the components followed. The mallets are very light weight. Also when pedal arrived many of the parts were loose and had to tighten them all up.Now If you’re looking for a beginner pedal I dont recommend this one because the player may become frustrated. Save your money and invest into a decent name brand. Go and try them out at the music store make sure you like them.But if you’re on a super tight budget and this is all you can get and don’t mind making adjustments every couple of songs, then go for it.

I've been using this pedal for about two weeks now, and I really like it. It is heavy and large, and the overall construction looks solid. Maybe some of the pieces like the beater will have to be replaced eventually. My one real complaint is that the attachment part for the kick drum is pretty large at the bottom and puts my 22'' sonar kick drum at an angle.

The spring in the left pedal must be taken out to function properly, as it is set up for a third beater if you had two kick drums. Otherwise you are fighting against yourself when playing, and it won’t match the tension on the right pedal. That aside, the pedal is phenomenal and is very good quality. The beaters are heavy which I like.

it was inexpensive. A couple of the set screws are stripped. I will have to find some other, more reliable screws. Other than that it is ok. Once you use it enough it will loosen up and play right along.
