There's nothing worse than replacing Lincoln air springs and having the job fall flat (literally) due to a leak at the solenoids. Lincoln no longer makes the parts for these dinosaurs so your options are limited. Amazon prices these competitively and speedy shipping insures a quick repair. The Town Car once again has it's proper stance and all is right with the world.

Thanks to the seller I was able to cut costs a little more than half and still have a quality product. Install is difficult may require professional for best results and safety.

After installation of solenoid valve (purchased from a Wisconsin store) the pressurized air spring lost most of its air in about 2 hrs. Bad news. Bubble testing indicated leak at the O-ring seals. - Quickly ordered a pair of Dorman valves from Amazon. When those arrived all O-rings were carefully measured and compared. To my shock and dismey they all were the same O.D, .720in. Dia., meaning they would all leak the same way. - To make a long story short, my third set of valves came from Florida with perfectly sized O-rings, measuring .740- 742in. Dia. and hold pressure. This 1990 Mark VII rides again.

The ears that lock this into the air spring aren't as big as the factory ones. May not be an issue in the long run but we'll see.

Easy to install, since is just like OEM. The half moon clip that hold it in is cheap thin aluminum, not as durable as OEM. Be sure to use some type of grease around oring for ease of installation. I found on these and on another brand I installed on my Town Car air bags, that they would leak down over night but pump up quickly. After about a week of use they then held up fine. So give them time to seat in. Had no further problem.
