Stopped working after a year. Haven't reached out for warranty support. they claim it as lifetime... anyways, I would have to pay installation charges twice. Savings isn't worth the effort and time. Buy the part offered by the repair shop. If it fails at least you will save on installation cost.

Purchased this motor to replace Mazda 3's front driver's side window motor that finally gave out after about 12 years. Install was fairly straightforward and it installed just like the original did. Hopefully this aftermarket parts will last for tue foreseeable future!

I don't know why I waited a few years with broken windows! Both driver and passenger side would not roll up without pulling up on them (they made the dreaded knocking noise which means the gears are destroyed) and I lived with it for way too long. Ordered both sides for a weekend project, watched a few YouTube videos for instructions, and got both done in less than an hour, including all labor and being extra meticulous. Since I have auto up and down, just followed with reset for 15 seconds on both sides and everything works great! Hopefully this lasts years as well - I'm going to copy this same review for the other part number.

My drivers side window would not roll down, I removed the window switch and tested it with a test light. The switch tested fine so I bought the window motor, I took the door card off and removed the motor from the regulator and I plugged the switch back in and the original motor spun while not connected to the regulator. Turned out the original motor was not strong enough to roll down the window anymore. I installed the new motor to the regulator and tried the window before I put everything back together and it worked fine. You have to remove the speaker (torx screw driver or small socket to remove speaker screws) to get your hand behind the panel to hold the regulator in place while you line up the motor teeth to the regulator teeth. The job took about 45 minutes to complete and the window is functioning properly now...Watch a few youtube videos and you will be able to replace the motor on your own.

Though my delivery was less than 1 star, the piece was compatible with my CX-7 2009 drivers side. So far it went back to working as it should. The quality is a little less substantial from the original piece.Mechanic took 15 mins to install and charged 30 mins labour. The motor is located just underneath the plastic cover.Box was delivered to another address, then driver went to get it after he handed me the wrong package from a completely different address and name. He returned with it and I got it opened with no Amazon box, labels etc. Just the motor in an open smashed box. No apology, no explanation. 2nd mistake in a week. Previous delivery men were great. These 2 new drivers mess up and I am concerned for today's deliveries I am staying home for unable to go about my day until they come.

Correct part easy to install, has been working for over a year. Gave it a 4 stars, because it does seem to close the window with a higher force than the original, and causes a banging noise. For the price and the use in a 10 year old car, it is good.

This fit perfectly on the front driver's side door of a 2012 Mazda CX-9; however, the automatic up/down feature does not work.UPDATE:I contacted Dorman and asked about the automatic up/down feature. They replied within 24hrs with the following instructions, my automatic up/down feature works perfectly now. Great customer support. To install the new motor you need to disconnect the wires going to the old motor and connect them to the new motor. This disables the automatic up/down feature. To reset the feature 1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position. 2. Press the switch of each window and fully open the door glass. 3. Pull the switch of each window to the manual-up position to fully close the door glass, and keep holding the switch up at the position for approx. 2 s.Instructions provided by Dorman:POWER WINDOW INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE NOTE: - If the following operations have been performed, initial setting is reset, and auto up/down and two-step down operation are disabled. Therefore, performing initial setting is necessary. - Negative battery cable disconnected or power window system power supply fuse removed. (perform initial setting for the switches of all seats.) - Power window switch connector disconnected. (Perform initial setting for the switch connected with the connector.) - Prolonged open/close operation of the power window main or sub switches causes the circuit breaker to activate and automatic operation is disabled. - The driver-side power window initialization procedure can be performed only using the power window main switch. - The passenger-side power window initialization procedure can be performed using the power window main switch and subswitch (Passenger side). - If the power window initialization procedure is not completed, the power window (Driver and passenger sides) does not operate automatically.
