Be careful. Screws provided are metric and no nut for wire connection also metric. Fuel line pointing in wrong position as well. NOTHING on an old chevy is METRIC!!

Works like original in my 55 Chevy sedan. Comes with tank gasket and fits exactly like original. I would buy again.

Unit fit tank great, sender ohmed properly 0 to 30 ohms approx. Screws provided did not fit had to use those provided with new tank, metric things I suppose. The feed outlet was not pointed exactly same as original and line wouldn't screw in. Had to modify fuel line, its a very tight bend due to the fuel tank strap being in the way, a little frustrating.
