Great product, arrived in a solid box with a good quality filter sock on the intake and I adapted it to my vintage Ford panel truck with good results. I could not use the original style reproduction parts because I have installed an Aerostar plastic tank inside the frame rail to replace a rusted out tank that is no longer being reproduced. I had to adapt the mounting plate for this sender to a larger plate that fits the opening in the tank. It all worked great and my old gauge in the dash works perfectly with a little adjusting. I'm using a low-pressure electric 'lift' pump to keep the mechanical pump on the engine primed, which allows any excess fuel to return to the tank.

It's an adequate replacement for an original, it works for now but like all offshore reproductions it will fail within a year or two. The thin micarta rheostat insulator will warp and stop making contact with the slider. I'm on my third one so far in 8 years.
