  • Premium replacement - this exhaust manifold features a specialized ceramic coating designed to improve durability and performance on select vehicles
  • Reduces future failures - by evenly distributing heat, coating reduces uneven hot and cold spots that lead to cracks, and decreases inconsistent expanding and contracting that leads to gasket failures
  • Optimizes performance - made to smooth the interior manifold surface and keep heat within the manifold, leading to higher exhaust velocity and optimal operation
  • Improves appearance - coating is highly corrosion-resistant, maintaining like-new appearance for years while other cast manifolds show significant unsightly rust
  • Ensure fit - to make sure this part fits your exact vehicle, input your make, model and trim level into the garage tool

Want to make sure your new exhaust manifold performs better and lasts longer than the original? No need to buy a replacement and get it specially coated. This manifold comes with a specialized ceramic coating that more evenly distributes heat, both helping to prevent thermal cracking as well as enabling smoother exhaust gas flow. This part is compatible with the following vehicles. Before purchasing, enter your vehicle trim in the garage tool to confirm fitment. The manifold is good quality and fit perfect on my truck, other reviews mentioned the gasket being flimsy, I had no issues with the gasket and it’s working just fine.

Fit up was good. No wrestling with it. Amazon comes to the rescue on f150 king ranch restoration. Aka project covid.Btw Doorman brand auto parts are widely carried by stores in North America. Better price from Amazon and delivered to my front door. No mask. No gas. No hassle.

Uninstalling the old one was some work, trick for the posts in the block was to be generous with PB Blaster. Tighten a little, then loosen a little...work them that way until they let go. We had a far tougher time with the flange bolts connecting the manifold to the cats. New manifold from Dormer fit perfectly. Also added the manifold install kit with posts and nuts, even though we got the old ones out it was a good idea to replace them with a fresh set. 2003 Ford F150 5.4L non turbo passenger (right) side. The truck runs MUCH better and fuel mileage went up about 10% for the last two fills si ce.

The shop I use charged me 4.5 hours to change it. Get yourself a Stud & Nut kit, I used Dorman brand. I used the gasket included in the kit. So far the part is working great.I will update if this part fails prematurely.

Man them things were rusty. Grind the rusty nuts off however you can. Definitely get a stud extractor, someone recommended that in another review... worth their weight in gold. Bolted back on with stainless studs, so the rest of the truck will rust away and I should have a small pile of stainless. Quieted down that noisy ticking sound, old manifold was cracked between two exhaust ports. Comes with gaskets.

Perfect fit and comes with manifold to pipe studs and manifold gasket. If the studs that mount it to the head are done for you’ll have to get them separately.

Well I've been putting up with noisy exhaust since buying my Expedition some two years ago, first was the muffler with the full side seam blown out. I changed this but withing one week my left side manifold started, so I purchased the Dorman replacement, cleaned it thoroughly with paint thinner and then a few coats of silver high heat rust paint and installed it with virtually no troubles whatsoever. It wasn't long after, maybe a whole week that the right side manifold let lose with that horrid sound. I did have troubles getting the old one off but found out later you need to undo the motor mount and jack up the engine a little lol Oh well it was a learning experience, the new one went on quickly from this point after cleaning and using high temp paint. It was when I got the courage to fire her up that things got weird, I turned the key, my starter engaged but I could barely hear that my engine was actually running. The sound was showroom sweet with not one exhaust leak anywhere. Unfortunately I now have another issue to investigate. Since I installed a stainless free flow muffler on it, I'm not getting the sound I was getting once I first installed it. I love properly tuned sound you get when you plant your foot to the floor with a good free flow exhaust but at least the awful sound from manifold leaks is gone, forever I pray, this has to be the ugliest sound any vehicle can make. Thank you again Dorman for a well made, perfect fitting product like all the others I've purchased and installed on my Expedition made by you!!!

Perfect fit for my 2001 supercrew 5.4 4x4. This is the second right side manifold ive replaced on this truck 219000 miles and its a plow truck. The manifold was leaking because of the cheap hardware and I dont belive it was cracked but because of corrosion I replaced it. I did get it from amazon (56 bucks) over rockauto (45 bucks + shipping) because with my prime I knew id get it in a couple days. I did also check around and the exact same part from my local place was 106 bucks. I ended up cutting the nuts off all the studs pulling the manifold then vicegrip the stud, 3 did not want to move so I welded a nut on them and they came right out. This job would be easy if you knew that the studs would come loose. Didnt get 5 stars because I thought that the gasket looked like junk and got some fel-pro ones.

I did the vehicle confirmation with amazon and it told me "this fits your vehicle". The product was as shown and of good quality but slightly different than what is in our 2002 F150. The end that connects to the Y pipe pointed downwards slightly as opposed to the original which came straight out. And after fighting with the manifold to get in on the rods he had to grind a slot into the manifold flange to get it to fit next to the starter. It took alot of work! so just be careful because my husband said that it may have been because the truck's year make was 11-01, so even though the truck itself is a 2002 it maybe just have been because it still had some 2001 part in it.

I put this on a 2000 ford f-150 with a 5.4L triton v8. Just wanna report it fit perfect, no complaints. It came with new studs for the exhaust pipe flange but no studs to hold it to the block. The old manifold and bolts where completly destroyed by rust which is why i was replacing it. I was able to find studs in stock at my local o'reilly though for 7 bills. no biggie just want ya to know what you are getting. It also came with a new manifold gasket. Also the big studs have a kind of oval shape ground into the ends for installing. There is a tool that is made for changing shocks o'reillys also carries that fits it perfect. I think its inexpensive and I had one on hand anyways. A pair of pliers would work fine as well though. Lastly I would recommend installing the manifold then puting the flange studs in may save you some fighting and time.
