It works but isn’t great for deep Alberta winter. When’s it’s -15/20 it seems to keep the weather out decent but anything colder and it’s no good.

I use this PVC strip to make DIY cat house door flap. Easily cut to a desired size with a sharp box cutter. It has a good thickness and weight to it. It's a beautiful clear light blue color that is pliable. It outgases a very strong smell. Be prepare to leave it out for a few days before using. Installation is straight forward. I drilled 3 small holes at the top and secore them to the cat house with small bolts and nuts. Hopefully, it partially blocks wind, rain and cold air to keep the cat house dry.

This is nice thick material. It is hard to cut through and to cut straight. It takes a couple days with heavy items on top to flatten the vinyl before you can really use it. Then had to try to cut it again only longer because there is still a curl on the end.
