Working as it should

I had a ClearVue pump on my hvac system for many years before the company that replaced my AC system removed it without asking if I wanted to keep it and replaced it with a really cheap pump. That pump failed so I wanted to get the ClearVue again as it was working fine other than 1 issue where slime gummed up the sensor and would mess with function. The pump has been around for a good 15 years and today, still looks the same with some minor differences. The pump is no longer called ClearVue. Instead, they put a sticker on it that says Asurity. The box also says Asurity which I assume is just part of the DIversiTech company. One thing I noticed besides the sticker is the pump runs far more quiet. This is the quietest pump I have ever heard. There is supposed to be a flashing blue light in it to say the sensors are operating correctly and my old pump had it. This one even though the instructions to mention it does not have one. I don't know if it's defective out of the box or not, but the pump is working perfectly fine.It will pump only as much and fast as it needs to unlike some other pumps that are just loud.It is pretty easy to install, however there are 2 yellow wires that come with it to connect an external alarm or to connect to your system for overflow switches. The instructions have nothing on how to actually connect them so unless you know anything about wiring these, you're out of luck there. A lot of pumps come with the small wires already connected to the pump for overflow switches and it doesn't matter how they are wired, but this one has Alarm, Comm and Run on it so you have to know which ones to use.If you don't need the wires then install is really simple. Put the pipe in and plug it in.Overall it's a great quiet pump and I won't go back to a cheaper much louder one again.

I live in FL and have 2 heat pump systems due to having a 2 story house. The house is 28 years old and been having issues with drain pipes clogging even though I flush them and poor a little bit of bleach down them occasionally. We have very hard water so after the years the PVC drain pipes have got clogged with sediment which is almost like concrete in there restricting the flow. My upstairs AC went out recently and I am in the process of replacing it so I decided to buy this pump and run both drains to the pump and then have one exit to the exterior of the house. Picked up some reinforced clear tubing and ran the drain outside away from the house so it would not be near the foundation. You will need some tubing, 3/4 inch PVC and fittings also some primer and glue for PVC. My original drains were run under the concrete so I ran the new pipes behind the 2 air handlers and placed the pump on the floor. The holes in the pump are for 3/4 inch PVC and you have four ports you can use. Once you have your PVC ran and have the drain going out of the house then you can run your float switch wires to the air handler. Very important you do this in case the exit line becomes clogged. You want to look for the red wire in the top portion of your air handler and you will connect one of the leads from the pump to the red wire going to the thermostat and the other wire from the pump to the red wire going to your condenser. The Red wire provides 24 volts and when that 24 volts is lost the system will shut down to prevent flooding. Your just making a big loop for the 24 volts to travel through the pump and back out to the condenser unit. You can test the operation after you turn the pump on by pouring water in and plugging the drain outside the house. This will cause the pump to go into alarm and the unit will break the 24 volt connection. If you have a current float switch on the front of your air handler you can wire the circuit in series so both are functional. If your mechanically inclined installation should not be an issue. You can also have a tech come out and do it for you but their not cheap. Pump has been running great for about a week, very quiet and drains well. I would recommend it because of it's features, the clear tank lets you see the water level in the pump, it does not use a manual float switch which can stick. Excellent product so far.

you have no clue how important your condensate pump is until it goes out. This particular unit is unique in that because of its transparent reservoir you can determine if the unit is functioning properly immediately. The internal alarm it possesses has the perfect audio pitch (even for those who are hard of hearing). The install is a breeze! NOTE: make sure you purge your lines (CO2 Cartridges) when installing the new unit

Super easy to install. If yours is hardwired into your furnace like my old one was, its just a matter of snipping the end off the plug and putting it together however your old one was.If you have an actual plug, lucky you! Just line up the holes in the lid, plug it in and its good to go.Mine has a good 20 feet or more to travel and this thing works like a charm. Mine personally needs to lift 8 feet, across about 15ft and around the wall then down into a spout. Its quite a travel but it doesnt seem to affect it at all.Easy to install, easy to troubleshoot. Get it!

I bought this product because I read the failure for condensation pumps usually comes from an issue with the float (which is how my old one failed, float got caught in the gunk at the bottom). So, this floatless technology makes sense to me. I really wanted a pump that would alert me if there was an issue, and the alarm hasn't gone off yet, but I think it does have an alarm. It says it has an alarm or you can hook one up, and I think it made a beep noise when I first plugged it in, so it can make noise (it was a few weeks ago). I use the pump to catch the water from my humidifier and a/c condensation. Water quality here is not good so the clear tank will tell me if I need to perform maintenance like clean the bottom of it (which I now know I have to do, very expensive lesson). It is slightly louder than the old pump I had, but the peace of mind it gives me with the blinking indicators, clear view, floatless design, and alarm are well worth it. It's as if they thought of all the failures of a condensation pump and designed something to prevent these failures. So far, this product is awesome. For the features, I would have paid much more
