Nothing like the photos. I need “distressed” old looking leather for a project. The only thing Distressed about it is me. It just has a mild grain impression no real color variation whatsoever. I’ll have to find a better source now. Photos are very deceiving. If there is a plus side, the leather appears to be a decent quality.

I chose a piece of distressed leather for covering the handles on baskets I have been crocheting. The leather is real leather and smells like leather which I love. It is supple and yet thin enough that I can lace it up over the handles.
