The one drawback was that enough thread was not provided. I ran out of brown and beige colors. Instructions can be confusing.

This is a beautiful quilt that is made with quality materials! The floss is separated and organized on a card, which makes it sooo easy and convenient to use. I purchased a different quilt from another manufacturer and the quality did not even come close to this company's. I am very impressed with this Dimension quilt, and will buy this brand in the future.

This quilt is adorable! Before purchasing I read other reviews and questions and like usual they were mixed results. After finishing this blanket I decided to provide feedback and answer some questions. First off, this is a stamped pattern. I worked on it for months when I had time. The pattern never rubbed off. Second, because it’s stamped it’s perfect for a beginner. I’ve done counted cross stitch as well so I know what I’m saying is true! I tried to hide my stitches but found it too challenging. But that’s okay. I added a backing to it which hides everything. There is plenty of thread and if you mess up, go to a craft store and buy more for $.25. The reviews were mixed about how to wash the blanket afterwards and whether or not the colors will bleed onto the blanket. I used the hand wash cycle setting although delicates should work just fine and in cold water. No issues at all! In the end, if you want to make a keepsake baby blanket this is it! I can’t wait to give it to my granddaughter for Christmas! By the way, I’ve never used a sewing machine before but I think I did pretty good.

What a beautiful quilt! It took me 10 weeks and about 120+ hours to finish it. I did run out of one color, but was able to improvise with another. The stamped x's washed out beautifully. I put a fleece backing on it, and gifted it to my daughter.

This Cross Stich Stamped Quilt is a complete kit that comes with all the threads and 1 needle. You have to supply your own embroidery hoop. A single thread is made up of 6 stands. Depending on the stich, it may require 2 or 3 strands, and in some cases you may need one strand of one colour and two strands of another colour (full instructions are given). A review on a different product noted there was a wrinkle in the fabric when it was stamped with the pattern. This product had no such defect. Not included in the kit, a silk blanket edging and a polar fleece backing creates a beautiful keepsake. The stamped pattern is erased on its first wash.
