As a Nursery Practitioner, I always see the potential in unusual objects for the children in my care to learn through play. I have a set of small tyres in my small world corner already and ordered this scooter tyre to add to this existing set. Children are really curious about real life objects and scooter tyres are a great size and weight for them to handle and explore. We sue the tyres in our play set ups - they make great roundabouts for smaller vehicles, hold loose parts for contruction play - and also in our playdough for mark making. This tyre features some discolouring, which I am unsure of the reason for - I tried washing it, but the mottled grey look remained unchanged by the water. My other tyres are a solid black, so I am unsure what has happened to this one, However I have checked it over thoroughly and this does seem to be discolouration of the rubber material rather than a powder, so I am happy to add this to my collection. For other Early Years Educators, I can really recommend the use of scooter tyres as small world enhancements, as they are affordable and offer so many possibilities.

THEY DO NOT FIT G2 MODEL! The inner rim is 1.5" and it needs to be 1" but this was not in the description when i bought it. Very hard to find a tire replacement for the g2 model. smh

Just follow the instructions and it will be easy to put on. However, be careful because this wheel does not come with a wheel iron.

I have a small thump in the tire while riding. But i cant say that it didnt happen when mounting? Or maybe even a problem with the rim? But im satisfied all the same..
