Worked well but its definitely bigger than 9 1/2 inches, my springform pan could swim in it

Great product, since I started using this for my last two cheesecakes, I've now been told my vanilla cheesecake is the "best I've ever had!" by four different people. Great not having to mess around with foil, and the whole thing fits perfectly in my enameled cast iron pan, which I don't need to worry about scratching because of the silicone!

Wrapping my springform pan with foil when baking in a water bath was always a gamble...which was frustrating when water leaked through. I resorted to the turkey roasting bags, but that was bulky and awkward. Then I found this. No more soggy cheesecake crusts. My one concern is that the silicone is not a tight fit, so I worried that the whole purpose of baking it in the waterbath would be negated, but the cheesecakes have turned out the same.

This thing stuck to the bottom of my pan and could not be removed. It came apart and destroyed my springform pan. It ruined my cheesecake as well. I should be compensated for this debacle!!!

I bought these silicone molds to protect my cheesecakes from getting wet in a water bath and they're keeping the bottom of my cheesecakes dry!
