Instructions for Use:

1. Place the thermometer into the pool, and it will float on water's surface.

2. The built-in solar battery charges by sunlight, ensuring continuous power supply.

3. Press the °C/°F button to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units.

4. To conserve power, hold the °C/°F button for 3 seconds to turn off the thermometer. Press the button again to turn it back on.

Attention:

1. If the LCD does not display after turning on the power when opening the package, please expose the thermometer to sunlight for battery charging. It will start working soon.

2. Please ensure the solar panel is clean for efficient charging and uninterrupted operation.

This solar thermometer works great! It is fairly unobtrusive in our homemade swimming pond. I like being able to verify the temperature and make adjustments if needed. It is well made. I love it and would definitely recommend it.

We will open our pool in a few weeks, so I haven't yet had the opportunity to try this out in its intended environment. But, I was able to drop it in our turtle tank, which has a regulated water temp, and the thermometer was within a degree of the set temperature. I love the solar feature, so I won't be fishing it out this summer to deal with battery changes. And, any time you have a battery opening, you create another potential leak, which will quickly kill devices.I will test it this summer and if it has any issues, I will update the review accordingly.

So far so good! This pool thermometer is great, it’s easily visible from the pool edge. The digital screen is big enough to read with no issues. The thermometer takes a a good charge and last throughout the day. I like the color of it, it isn’t obnoxiously colored and it just blends in with the water. I’m looking forward to when it reads a bit warmer and it’s ready to go in the pool. At under $20, this is a great product that is easy to use.

This product makes it easy to decide whether or not to simply jump in or not. While there are hundreds of pool thermometers available, this one is quick and easy; just a glance and you'll know if it's too cold or not. We used the supplied cord to tie it to one of the ladders, so it's always nearby and easily visible. Compared to the central thermometer in the pool's filtration system, it appears to be quite accurate.

Looks nice in our Koi pond, and the digital readout is large enough to see from a distance. The solar panel keeps it charged. I like that we don't have to fish a thermometer out of the water in order to read it!

The battery on this should last forever if you only turn it on when you check the temp, then turn it back off. It agrees with my ThermoWorks kitchen thermometer. I zip-tied it to the side of my koi pond, so it doesn't wind up in the middle where I can't reach it.

Has been working great in my hot tub for a few days. Seems to get more than enough charge with just occasional overhead light exposure while in use. Happy with it, seems solid so far. I'll update the review if I have any problems with it down the road.
