The simplicity and speed of the quick connect system for these bits is awesome. It makes these hole saws enjoyable to used instead of fiddling with allen keys and such on the old style ones. I also like the extra deep cut that you can get with these. Really nice.

This set is so nice when you need to drill several sized holes or when you need to drill a lot of same sized holes. The snap in feature is awesome! You can pop off one hole saw and exchange it for another in a second. Like other Diablo cutting tools, it's sharp and long lasting.The design makes extracting the plug super easy, which is something that's not so easy with other hole saws.There are 2 reasons that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5:1) The pilot bit is a little hard to remove. So hard that I thought I was doing it wrong, but when I looked it up, I could see that it wasn't the case. I'm guessing it will loosen up with more use.2) I had to send my first one back b/c the small compartment for the accessories that is inside the main case was broken. They should make that internal compartment more stout b/c w/o it the accessories will rattle around inside the main case. The main case is very nice though. Very stout and rigid and I like that you can see into it.

Excellent set. There were a number of key factors in selecting this set. All details are worth the upgrade for my uses. First, there are a lot of sizes of holes, and I use and need this much variety. Second, the quick change is very useful, many times better than the old systems of screwing on and off the blades. Third, and a detail I was eager to have, the multiple levels of "pry" spaces on the sides. When I had my old circle saws full I had only one place to pry. Now I can pry all the way up with those notches. It is a great idea, very useful and takes out the frustration. Teeth size is not too aggressive, nor so small that they clog up. All the parts are very sturdy and well made. Nice handy case - easy to see, easy to replace.Thank you Diablo. Well done and at a good price. Buy something good, pay once. Bravo!

Hi! As a GC I’m almost daily punching a hole through something it seems. For me, the right tool is one of the most important aspects of my job. I’ve tried and trusted this brand for many years. I’ve bought almost everyone of these holes saw bits individually multiple times. So when I seen this kit, I had to jump on it.I like how there’s empty spots for my other bits as now I have one place for all of them. Well, most of them. We use much bigger ones as well but not as often. This is an outstanding kit that will work for the vast majority of situations. In my experience, These bits last as well as every brand I’ve ever tried. If not better. Hope this is helpful.

Better than your average retail store offerings. Better than a lot brand names out there. Love the quick release mechanism. Give that engineer a raise! The plastic case could be smaller. Lots of empty space. The inner plastic had a broken tab, not a deal breaker.They are excellent for their intended use. Buy according to your needs, please.Totally recommended!

The case is nice enough that you want to take care of it. Although there’s no organization by size if you want to be able to squeeze a couple extra saws in there, it still keeps them protected and easy to grab-n-go.The hole saws are also nice to use. The quick release system makes ejecting stubborn plugs much quicker. Not only does the saw come off the arbor super fast, the pilot bit does, too! This makes the whole system more versatile when efficiency is important.The only thing I can’t truly rate is the blade longevity. I haven’t used one particular size too many times just yet, and substrate plays a huge role in how long they last. But they start out sharp and fast cutting, and they’re plenty deep enough to get through 2X lumber without needing to drill from both sides, or chisel out the bore. Overall good purchase.

Too many good points to list about this set.........if you need a great hole saw set that does it all and is quick and precise, these are it!! Excellent excellent product with an awesome heavy rubber reinforced case that will take a ton of abuse! Quick release works exactly as all the reviews and keeps up with the big brand names at half the price.
