Bought this blade to go with a new 12" power mitre box. Intent was to use to cut crown molding. This 80 tooth blade is wonderful for doing that. Nice, fine cuts. Highly recommend.

I should have upgraded the stock 32t blade on my Dewalt much sooner. The cut from this is extremely clean and effortless for standard trim and wood work.

Hubby just started using this yesterday. Blade life yet to be determined, as it was used for only a few hours cutting 1/2" MDF baseboard trim, but so far, it's doing a great job. Will update review if blade life isn't very good or if there are issues. For $59, this is a good purchase. Hubby loves his new Dewalt 779 compound mitre saw, as well. With this blade. they are a great combo!

This is a very good blade. I bought it for all-around use, and it is well balanced, very sharp and I expect it to be very durable.

I knew I needed a new blade for my saw when the cuts were starting to smoke. There are so many different blades available and all work differently depending on what you are cutting.I chose this blade as I thought it would be a great all around blade for the diverse cuttings that I do.I was not disappointed, this blade works great for almost everything I need to cut. I use a different blade to cut aluminum, everything else I use this one.It has a thin or narrow kerf which allows precision cutting.I love this blade, you will to.

Perfect. Sharp. Strong. The slits allow me to use the saw for much longer. The kerf is real small and a crisp clean cut

Decent quality saw blade. Don't know yet how long it will hold a sharp edge, only used it for 3 weeks so far. Makes a nice smooth crosscut on my Makita cut off saw.

I just used this blade to cut some MDF moulding. I was afraid that a coarser blade might leave some chips or tear up the soft MDF, so I tried the 80 tooth. The cuts are amazingly sharp and perfectly clean. I went nice and slow and the MDF just melted away under the blade, leaving a scalpel like cut.MDF isn't the toughest test, but the results are incredibly impressive. If I have any scrap remaining, I'll try the similar 60 tooth blade and the blade that came with my DW780 to see if there is any noticeable difference.Update: Last weekend I had to cut a few small pieces of 1" x 2" oak strips. I forgot that I had the 80 tooth blade in my DW780 and tried to cut the oak. I instantly noticed a lot of resistance. The blade was slowly cutting, but I had to push it through, which felt really strange with the 780. I quickly realized that I had the 80 tooth blade in. I switched to the 60 tooth DW3216PT and it cut through the oak like butter. The 80 tooth worked great on the soft MDF moulding, but just didn't seem to do well with the oak. There was a small bit of tear out with the 60 tooth, but based on what I experienced with the oak, I don't think the 80 tooth is a very good option with hardwood.Update 2: After some thinking, I realized that I may have used the 80 tooth to cut some laminate flooring. Big mistake. The laminate dulled my Festool track saw blade and I'm guessing dulled the 80 tooth DeWalt blade, which is why it did so poorly with the oak. I had the dull blades sharpened but haven't tested the 80 tooth blade again on the oak. I'll update if I have a chance to retest it. My guess is that the blade does fine, and the problem was that it was dull due to my stupid mistake.
