Da dieser Regenschutz für eine Backpackerreise nach Asien ein Muss ist, haben wir extra den von Deuter ausgesucht. Die Passform ist optimal und das Wasser perlt gut ab. Auch für die Flüge gibt die Schutzhülle eine gute Wahl ab.

Not only is this a great cover to have for the rain, but when I was camping with someone who forgot a ground cover, I was able to give them the cover I brought for my vestibule, and used this as a ground cover for a small area to keep everything I needed dry in there. Really packs tight and takes up very little space, and is pretty light!

If you have the Deuter Aircontact 50+10 pack, the Rain Cover II is a better fit (even with the extra 10 liters on expansion). The Rain Cover III hangs down below the pack by a good foot to foot and a half. The pull string does not help the sagging.I have no idea how good the rain repellent part of things works yet.
