Put these on a 2006 town and country. The ride has been approved be 10 times. Grab some new bolts for the rear shocks it just saves a lot of time. I’ve seen other options on line cheaper but you can’t go wrong with Detroit axel.

I installed these shocks and struts around 16 months ago. Originally they were better than the worn-out factory ones but that quickly went downhill. I don't drive this van every day so I had no idea how bad they were. I drove it recently with about 7 people in the van (half were kids so it was not overloaded). Pulling into a parking lot the front and rear each bottomed out. The incline was not very steep so it should not have bottomed out. Later in the drive, I hit an average dip in the interstate while doing the speed limit. The whole van bottomed out, front and rear. It made a terrible noise. Each bump I hit in the road would cause the front to bottom out. My wife drives this van every day usually with no one in the car with her. She says it doesn't do this when empty. She's noticed a few times it bottoming out with only her but didn't think to mention it.Today I call Detroit Axle to file a warranty claim only to find out their warranty only covers half of the order when ordered as a kit. You can get the front replaced or the rear but not both. I decided to go with the front only to find out they only had the driver's side in stock and had no idea how long it would take for the passenger side because an order had not been placed for one. He said it could take 6 weeks or more, he didn't know. I asked how much it would cost to ship, since the customer pays for shipping of warranty claims, and was told $120!!!!! It was $60 shipping for each side!!! You buy a product with a "10-year warranty" only to find out it covers half the product. Then they only have half of that product in stock AND it costs half of the original total order price to ship it to you. As if that wasn't bad enough, I asked the man to direct me to the area on their website that describes this policy and he said certainly, THEN HUNG UP ON ME!I know it seems I'm upset because I am now but I was not at all rude or short with him. I was only trying to understand this policy no matter how poor it was. I would advise anyone to stay away from this particular product. I can't speak for other products sold by Detroit Axel but I can speak to this one and most importantly their warranty.

Exactly the parts I needed for my van without giving up my firstborn to cover costs. Good quality parts. I asked my mechanic friends about Detroit Axle before ordering and all gave them a thumbs up.

Installed on 2003 grand carravan and the shocks went in great and easy. The struts went in well too. The long links that connect to the sway bar were hard. The short links are a complete mystrey where they go since there is no rear sway bar. Checked the manual and searched on line, and found other sites also selling the short links for my car, but no information on where they go. Even did an image search for the short links and every video I could find on them showed them being installed on the front in istead of the long links. It seems that the short links are used on other cars while the long ones are used on mine. Their inclusion in this set is either to cover more types of cars or is a mistake. You would be better off checking what type you need and ordering a set with just the right ones, no sense in paying for what you don't need. Remember this seems to be a common mistake. My car rides a lot better now but the ride seems a bit stiff, I can feel every little bump with the new struts. I think orginally the car had a smoother ride when it was new, 15 years ago, but I have riding on old struts for a long time.
