Definitely better than old worn out air shocks. The quality... you get wat you pay for. In my car fixed the rear sagging successfully. Went from 3 fingers from tire to fender and now its a solid 7 fingers height. They sound a little bit when you hit bumps, I think its because of the plastic cover on it. But Overall good value for the money. 100% Recommended if you're in a tight budget, like me.

These shocks / Struts made my 2004 Lesabre drive like new. Took me 90 minutes to install. I live in Florida so no rusty disassembly issues. I did have to transfer the old speed nuts on the bottom of the old shocks to the new ones. Package arrived an hour earlier than the delivery window (Thanks Fed- Ex) and was well packaged. I will definitely buy from Detroit Axle again.

Easy to install just don't forget the washers (included in plastic bag in box) and save your mounting hardware. The kit does not include hardware for the lower end of the shock. No squeaks. Makes for a stiff/bumpy ride, but the vehicle itself feels more sturdy when travelling down the road. And I like the stance it gave my 2004 Buick LeSabre. Excellent product.

Finally yanked the factory air shocks to try these struts with springs. My SSEi sits 1 1/4" higher than the factory air shocks but they rode better. They handled decent considering the crappy Las Vegas rough roads. The new Nitto Motiva All Season tires are really nice tires and the Detroit shocks were still okay. But withine year and they had fallen to pieces. They made noise & one under the car, the sleeves were cracked & the springs were loose making the noises. What a mistake! Turned around and installed new air shocks back as the original and things were back to smooth as factory. No noises until I threw them inthe trash can! Never again will I purchase them ever again.

I have a 2004 Buick LeSabre with air level ride. It has been leaking for sometime. I have replaced many parts trying to correct it. I was tired of hearing the pump run all the time. I installed the shocks and disconnected the level ride. Perfect fit. Car rides good. Very pleased.I wanted to update my review. I purchased this set of shocks one and a half years ago. About seven months ago I noticed one of them was doing quite a bit of creaking and squeaking. I had a very serious injury in January of this year and was unable to do any type of work on my car due to that. The squeak did not in any way cause the car to not be operable or usable. It was just annoying. I have since recovered from my injury and I recently ordered another set and replaced the one on the driver side that was making all the noise. The car is once again quiet

LOVE THE RIDE AND THE RIDE HEIGHT! Easy to install, 2004 Lesabre actually RIDES LIKE A BUICK NOW! Bolts all lined up great. Make sure to buy nuts, bolts, and washers if you live in the rust belt because these do NOT include the bottom hardware. My factory hardware snapped off during removal of the old struts. An EZ out and hammer to pound them out and then used wifes car to run down to Ace for new hardware.Overall the car looks better and rides like a dream. No more harsh bumps for this guy. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Detroit Axle struts for the early 2000s buicks
