Got these couple years ago. No problem. Good product. Not quite as smooth as my original Buick shocks, but still very nice, no noise or anything. Would buy them again.

Arrived early which was nice. Packaging was very good. My car is an 02, so removing old struts moderately difficult but I expected this so I let the 2 main bolts sit with penetration oil. The Detroit axle struts went on without issue. The front end did rise significantly, but my original struts are 24 years old with 147,000 miles, so again ,I expected this. But the new ones will settle after a couple hundred miles. The ride is amazing now. No odd sounds, creaks, vibrations. It feels like a brand new car. I replaced the control arms and rotors/pads too with Detroit axle parts. The entire front end is fresh now. Here's the savings...Detroit Axle and Amazon cost me $350 for everything . The shop wanted $1425! And the parts store cost is almost doubled that of Amazon. I'd love to support my local store but Amazon is treating me much better

They seem to be good quality parts at a fraction of the cost. We’ll see how they hold up compared to more expensive ones.
Money well spent. Worked perfect.

UPDATE: After 2 months of using the Detroit Axle struts, I have already ordered a new set from a well known brand. Not only is the car riding several inches too high, having terrible ride quality, and having steering issues, but now I noticed that the front tires are also not wearing correctly. This will be the last time I try to save a few dollars on struts... its just not worth it.After noticing I had a leaking front strut in my 2002 Impala, and reading all of the positive reviews about these I thought they would be a great fit. I already installed Detroit Axle struts on the back of this car, so I figured they would be a good match. The shipped quickly, and installed easily, but after driving around with them I wish I just left the old ones on. The car rides way to high, and this is exaggerated by the fact that the Detroit Axle rear struts ride too low. The ride is too bouncy and noticeably worse that before. I thought they might just need some time to settle, however after a month and a half I have not seen any improvement. If you have a broken spring and NEED something cheap to hold you car up, then this might be the right choice for you, but if you care about ride quality I would probably get something better.
