FYI this will only support two functions like a shower head and a hand shower. If you want to do three functions like a rain head, shower head and hand shower then you need to buy the RP51919. Please note the difference between function and setting. 3 setting counts "off" as a setting hence why it only will support two functions.

What I found worked is cleaning all the calcium build up and replacing the washers. I felt like it was a waste of money to buy the whole piece.

This diverter only works with 2 shower devices. It allows for each of the 2 to be used independently, and then the third option is for both units to work at the same time. If you want 3 shower devices, you have to get the 6-way diverter. Even my plumber told me to get the 3-way for our 3 devices.
