Does not fit the Sony A7R V properly/comfortably. The box I received doesn't even list the A7R V. But all prior A7R models.

I use this more than the smallrig cage with the extended hand grip. The AirTag feature is 100% worth it. Only have had an issue with the battery door once with the peak design toggles in the way.

Sturdy metal hand grip, screws on bottom w/o difficulty. Gives me more to hang onto , so hopefully my fingers won’t be in my pictures like with my last camera. And should help keep me from dropping the camera. Great fit. Good price.

Everything about this is a plus. The materials and finish are perfect. The fact that it is tripod ready and the advantage of having a location device in my street camera is huge. It only increases the profile of the body slightly but the extra grip depth is useful and allows a wrist strap which I like for street photography. Well worth the price.

Quality is great. Its smooth it has rubber pad to go under bottom of the camera so it doesn’t scratch the camera if you ocd bout that like I am is great the lil hole for the airtag is great even tho I personally dont have one. My only dislike and I understand why they did it is the empty spot by the battery hatch soo my pinky rest there and be nice if they had done something like had a movable piece but that me being picky

At first I was a little disappointed in this because it doesn't sit flush with the camera grip on the A7R V. It's just a little narrower. However when using it, I'm not finding the indent to be uncomfortable. It also stays on the camera nice and tight and uses a "D" ring attachment for tool free attachment and removal. I've had trouble with these loosening up on some brands I have used. The strap attachment is a nice feature that's not on other rigs. I'm sort of afraid to use it as my main method of carrying, not because it looks week, it's just that there are two attachment points that could fail and the RV is really expensive. I use the extra point for a safety strap. I now attach the strap directly to the camera and use this one as a backup.

Needed a camera grip for this superb point and shoot- even 2nd half of 2022.Was unable to attach base to camera body as don't have the jewellers' type tiny Phillips head screw driver to attach.Feel like asking for a refund.

I have big hands.The extension protects the bottom of the camera body and , more importantly for me, moves the hand grip attachment point down by over 10mm.
