I hoped to love these bowls, as I love the design, but they are very light-weight and cheaply made. I should have believed the reviewer that said: they were ”dollar-store” quality & she returned them. (As I ended up doing)

It didn't make it in time for the party I intended to use it for but thats my own fault for ordering so close to the date- that said, I have used the bowls for other purposes and don't have any complaints. They are a thicker plastic, haven't cracked and clean up easily.

It didn’t mention specifically it’s plastic. I am really upset. I cannot return it since I have to pay $20. I thought it was glass.

These bowls are sturdy and very pretty. I used them for cranberry salads over the holidays, and everybody thought the bowl really set off the pretty color of the salad. The smaller size will be great for the orange sauce we serve with Cornish hens on Christmas Eve.

These bowls work great for serving at a reception or party at work. However, all 4 bowls are smaller in size; there is no "punch bowl" size in this group. There are 2 smaller bowls for dips and a couple of larger sizes for crackers or veggies. Nothing that I would use for a bag a chips and definitely not a punch bowl size. They are good for smaller portions of items, but nothing very large (like a bag of potato chips...maybe half a bag). Sturdy for the plasticware they are. Treat them well and they should last a while. (Not a one time use serving set).
