I was a little apprehensive when ordering as there were so many choices. However, the item arrived early and was an exact fit. The "jiggly power" issue was solved. As a former IT Professional, I was happily reminded of why I was a DELL man for so long. No soldering. Just a tricky case removal and lots of little screws.

Had to replace the DC jack on a Dell Inspiron 3583 that had piece of the charger stuck inside. This replacement was not the same length as the original (shorter) but did reach the port on the motherboard. Very simple replacement, would buy again in the future
