About this item

  • High-Performance Hall Closed Loop Current Sensor: The HSTS016L model is a reliable and high-performance closed-loop current sensor based on Hall effect technology. It provides accurate measurements for various current applications.
  • Wide Input Range: The sensor has a rated input range of ±50A, allowing it to measure currents within a wider range of ±75A. This versatility makes it suitable for different current monitoring scenarios.
  • Precise Output: The sensor offers a rated output of 2.5±0.625V, ensuring consistent and precise voltage output proportional to the measured current. This facilitates easy integration with other systems or devices.
  • Excellent Safety and Temperature Performance: The sensor is designed with UL94-V0 flame resistance, ensuring high safety standards. It operates reliably within a wide temperature range of -10 ~ +70?, with a storage temperature range of -40 ~ +85?. This makes it suitable for various environmental conditions.
  • Advanced Features: The sensor has a DC bandwidth, allowing it to accurately detect DC, AC, and pulse currents. It provides excellent accuracy with a tolerance of 1% and linearity of less than 0.1%. The supply voltage is ±5% +5V, and it consumes ±15mA+Im of current. The sensor has a response time of less than 3?s, and its weight is 70g. It features an open-loop, split-core design suitable for hanging installation.

Sensor has surprisingly low orientation sensitivity, and just a slight current direction offset. Seems to respond to currents, but the response is as a 150A range sensor, despite order and markings on delivered sensor being for a 50A sensor.
