This product is NOT for 99-06 chevy trucks, but it does fit easily with 2 inches of space horizontal. Using the stock bolt with steel spacers from a hardware store can fix this. A hole needs to be drilled behind to secure the hook's vertical movementIt's funny that the product's images include a NBS truck that the item wasn't made forI removed the fascia lower bumper lip and am going for a clearanced prerunner look. I think these will do

These seem pretty solid for the price. The hardware is decent, comes with nylon locking nuts and the holes are lined up perfectly for my 2009 Silverado 1500, so install was very easy. I don’t think I will ever need to actually use them, but glad to have them installed now as my truck didn’t come with any.

i received the tow hooks and the first thing i was surprised at was how heavy they were and the quality of the coating. it wasn't until i went to install them that my excitement for the part faded. the first hook went in smooth as could be. the second one didn't! it turns out the second one was bent. yes bent. it was too wide to fit inside the frame rail. luckily i have a huge vise, so between that and a 3 foot piece of pipe to get extra leverage to close the vise.... i was able to bend it to where it had to be. a little more effort on quality control would be good.

These were easy to install, look great, and are very well made. Took maybe 15 minutes while lying on ground to install both.

Pretty unimpressed that they both came with chipped paint, considering they were well wrapped. I suspect they get a bit beat up in the factory.Fitment was good, almost a little too loose in my case but that doesn't matter as the bolts hold it in place.I haven't tested the strength yet.
