This is an exact replacement for my very old bath tap set. Very well made, the same as the original. Seller processed the order and sent it very quickly. Their service was very good.

Couldn't get it anywhere locally ! Was told not available due to the faucet being from the 50's and no one makes it anymore. Amazon had it next day and I was up and taking a hot shower in 20 minutes start to dry :) Very simple part to change just recommend the extension section be cleaned with a stiff brush or old toothbrush and lightly coated with hand soap before installing so everything slips together.

It worked and looked exactly like the one that wore out. Apparently every 8-9 years. I couldn't find silicon lube so I used a little Vaseline(non-sticky/waterproof) and it went in fine. I had bought it because of the review and glad I did. I'm considering buying one to keep on hand in case they quit making them. Happy.

Firstly, don't listen to the bad reviews. They should have known better then to order the wrong part. Picture is very clear. This thing just saved my life. I live in an old condo and my diverter valve disintegrated. I have been panicked, thinking id have to have a new valve installed. Then, the tile. Which, they probably can't get anymore. Easy $1500. Total nightmare, right. Did some research. I have the Glacier Bay Aragon. Idk if it'll work for the Aragon 2 and 3. But, I feel like it probably will. Like the other review said, you can't find this at Lowes, or Home Depot. Right here for $10. Thank you so much to the seller. This is about 3" long. The tub/shower valve has 4 holes. On the diverter valve cartridge, there's 2 holes in the black rubber part. Those go vertical. Try to be spot on at the 12 and 6 o'clock. The 2 plastic notches will slide into the brass valve fitting. Make sure they're in all the way. Wiggle it in. If you don't, the threaded sleeve won't catch the tread and you'll hate life. Good luck and enjoy.

This product was hard to find in home improvement stores. Luckily I found it here! It was just the part I needed. I installed it myself. It fit perfectly, saved me a plumbing bill, and arrived quickly. It's been installed over 4 months and so far so good.

The old insert, the rubber part holes went into the holes in the valve. This one the plastic extends out. This made it very hard to actually get into the valve. I had to use a socket to place over the plastic stem, rubber mallet, to bang it fully into the valve. If it had come the other way where the rubber extends into the holes in the valve, it would have been much easier IMO.
