Working, when you open the stem to use it has a lot of play in it where old stem that leaked didn't. It's like they milled a couple mm to much on how parts screw together making a looser wobbly fit. Seals are holding and working.

A small leak started in the original hot stem for my old 1970s American Standard 3-way tub and shower faucet. The old stem used a bushing of some sort that started to crack and erode away after 30+ years of use causing a small drip of a leak when the cold stem was open.The only issue with this part is that the thread goes the opposite way as the original hot stem, so once I receive the cold stem I will probably be swapping them to get the original rotation action back on the handles.**Update** As expected, the cold stem was also backwards compared to my original, so I just swapped them and the faucet handles turn the same direction as the originals I replaced.

Recently I purchased the same product from local store, it works perfect. The one I purchase from Amazon is a bad experience, that make me think I might get the wrong model, and trying to find the exact correct model, giving me a lot of trouble, I won't buy it from Amazon anymore
