Absolutely perfect fit for my 30+ year old bathroom cold faucet! No more leaking! Once I finally got the stuck stem out, it was a piece of cake to install the new one - just screwed right in! :)

Not sure if I received the wrong model or not, but after replacing the faucet valve with the new Danco replacement I bought on Amazon, the faucet leak was worse. Also, the turn to open the faucet ended up being opposite of the original. The original turned counter clockwise to open where the new one was clockwise. I ended having to put my old valve back in to stop the leak. When made the Amazon order, I made sure I had the right size and type (cold water vs hot water) by going to the Danco website. By the time I did my installation, the deadline to return passed so I'm out $24. Don't think I'll be ordering any more faucet valves on Amazon.

These are great replacement stems, and work perfectly to replace an old one with a leaking, faulty seat. It is confusing to label these as hot and cold, however.Some people want the hot water side to open when turned to the left, and others want it to open when turned to the right. At my house, we want both hot and cold to open to the left, just like any other regular faucet opens when turned left (which is counterclockwise).The package I got was marked with stock number 18597E, and 10H-15C. It opens when turning to the left, which is what I want it to do.The current Amazon price is about $10 under what they sell for ay my nearby hardware store.
