Excellent product. Description only said XT7, but it also said 173cc. (I assumed XT7 was a series) I have a XT722FE with a 173cc motor. It doesn’t fit. (I’m not complaining, my fault, post doesn’t say it will fit, just letting others know.) I did tear it apart, and use the insides on my old part, and it worked great, so the product itself gets 5 stars.

I put the new pull start on my mower, pulled it once and the handle came off and the string wrapped up all around the inside of the assembly. Pure garbage and cheaply built overseas. Do not waste money on this poorly made junk buy name brand instead. Now I have to waste time and gas to get a refund by dropping the junk off at a UPS store 10 miles away from home.

I have a toro 6.75 / 149cc kohler , I was very skeptical about buying this part, but I read the description and measured the size and compared to the dimensions here, and bought it. It was very easy to install, took me about 15min only because I had to find the correct tools. I did not use the spark plug that comes it it because I simply couldn’t get my old spark plug out , but plan on doing when I get the correct spark plug remover (my mower has a it at the very back and the oem one is so long that regular spark plug remover tools I have for my car are just not long in depth enough.

The spark plus didn't fit, but the filer amd the recoil pull workes good.

The recoil pull start was correct as was the air filter, but the spark plug was not the correct one for my Toromower, even though the description says it is the correct one. All in all the parts worked great and with the purchase of a different spark plug, my mower is working again. Thank you.

Fit perfectly. Saved a lot of effort trying to replace spring and starter rope on craftsman mower. Very good value plus included air filter and spark plug.

Cheapest pull starter on the market and it came with a plug and new filter. Quality seems the same minus the kohler logo on the starter. Cant beat not messing with pull starter springs!
