I’ve been playing la voz my entire 30 year career as pro player, so I love this brand - the thing is that in the recent years quality control has been lacking .Every 10 reeds has maybe 3 perfect reeds, and the other 7 are worthless to me.You either have to lower your price , or get the quality back you had 10 years ago

Years of looking for the right sounding read and these check all the boxes, tone, tuning, playability and lasting, in my opinion.

箱がかわったと思ったら、最低の商品が来た。全く鳴らない。今まで、40年ほどラボーズ一筋できたが、ここまで悪くなるとは!二度々買わない。またこれからリード探しの旅に出ます。

Great product at a good price. It is easier to get them in bulk here then sending money to the school to buy one at a time.

I've played this brand of reeds for years and years...love how each one is individually protected in a plastic gadget that should help it survive transport in a pocket, just in case the one under the mouthpiece cap gets dinged up or splits. Gives me the edgy sound I prefer.

I have been playing for almost 30 years and have tried a bunch of different reeds. I had stopped playing sax for a few years and when I picked it back up I found I was in need of new reeds. My husband went out and got me Rico Jazz Reeds which were horrible. I went through a few other brands trying what I thought would be 'new and improved' models. Nothing worked well. Despondent, I noticed in the bottom of my case part of a reed sticking out. It was a La Voz Medium Hard Reed. Why had I forgotten my love affair with these reeds? I went and bought one hoping it would be what I was looking for. It was like magic. Then I purchased a box of 10 from Amazon, so far they are all good. None of them appear to be stinkers. I remembered them being consistent and that quality doesn't seem to have changed.

My son is very accomplished musically and I think these reflect his higher ability a bit more than the already fine Vandorens--but to each their own. Just wish there was a brand he liked that every last one in the box met his exacting standards. Went on a Yamaha Z alto sax--he uses with Jody Jazz mouth piece for classical--still uses Vandorens sometimes for jazz w/ a different jazz JJ mouth piece. The better the reed, the harder to control sometimes, but you get a better sound if you can tame it....
