I like these because with the proper (BRP) center mounts they’re very durable and it takes a pretty hard hit to damage them. The problem is when you crash hard enough they bend and then it’s difficult to bend them back. I had to heat mine up with a torch but they were never quite straight again. This also weakens the metal. That being said they’re the strongest bark buster setup I’ve used by far and I’ve tried probably half a dozen different brands/types. I replaced the huge plastic Cycra guards with some lower profile KTM style ones sold on Amazon and they look much better without losing much protectionThey could at least thread the hardware holes for the price. I appreciate that these are sold as bar packs instead of having to buy the whole kit but these shouldn’t cost more than $30. Like most things related to this sport, you pay for the good stuff.
