Our Krauss faucet developed a recent leak. After taking it all apart, I could not determine where the cause of a leak was so decided to replace this cartridge. After replacing this cartridge, the leak went away. Very happy to spend $10 instead of $225 for a new faucet or $200+ for a plumber to come out.

I have a Kraus KPF-1640SS sink and it was starting to drip quite badly. I went to Kraus for a replacement, and while they were very helpful with sending me a new one, they were evasive to exactly what the cartridge was, other than saying it was 35mm. Unfortunately for me, the replacement cartridge is on back-order, and has yet to arrive.I am happy to report that this fits my Kraus KPF-1640SS absolutely perfectly. It was easy to install, has a nice and crisp action, and I haven't encountered a single drip in several weeks. The price is also very low, so I can't even begin to tell you what more pricier cartridges do that this one doesn't.

This cartridge valve nicely replaced the original 11-year-old part in my Kohler Forte 10433 single-handle kitchen faucet. The new cartridge lets the handle move smoothly to consistently set the water temperature and flow rate based on handle height and rotation, respectively.Replacement of the Kohler GP1016515 cartridge valve in the faucet was necessary because the base of the faucet was incessantly wet. Wiping the counter between faucet uses was bearable. However, when unattended overnight, water eventually ran across the counter onto the floor. The overdue repair became urgent so I ordered this new part.Installation of the new part presented the same challenges as removal of the old part. That is, the metal faucet handle needed high upward force to remove from the plastic arm on the top of the valve. My faucet was tight on the old and tight on the new. However, hard tapping (with a hammer and protective towel) on the ball of the faucet got the job done. This is not a criticism of the valve, but a warning than some faucet handles can be extremely tight. Just wiggle left to right and try to pull straight up (without endangering yourself) during removal.The new cartridge valve is working as well as the Kohler original when it was new.

I used this on my Glacier Bay faucet which had a leaky seal. A large adjustable crescent wrench is recommended to remove the ring holding it in place. The cartridge then drops in with two guides that ensure correct orientation and flush position against the seals. Reverse assembly to tighten and it works just fine. There is the same amount of tension on the handle and it has not leaked.
