It had a little surface rust but nothing to deep. Its extremely well made and durable. And an excellent value

Was using on a lathe to quickly bore out holes, and then my tool post decided to move about 10 degrees off center and snagged a tooth on the cutter, much to my surprise it didn't even damage it at all as far as I could see and is still boring holes just fine. I will probably get another one or two if it will hold up this good for the price.

Piece of junk only cut 3 holes sent it in for a return got a new one it cut two holes before it died
