I’m building a deck up to our pool and wanted a nice post base. They were really easy to install. Some of them were a tight fit on the wood, but I’m sure that it was the wood that was the problem. I used a hammer and a block of wood to get those in place. When installing them they will stand up on their own. This was perfect for placing them and attaching them by myself. They look great and are good quality. They are really heavy and a great value compared to the hardware store. Even Patrick agrees.

Beautiful product! Easy to Install with long and short screws included. Super sturdy. We used them to make deck bench seating.

Wow, these are solid, heavy duty decorative 4"x4" post supports. They include bolts for fastening and are a nice black matte finish. There's numerous holes in the sides to anchor in your 4x4 and 4 bolts on the bottom to anchor to a deck, concrete or whatever.My only concern is a "good news vs might be concerning news" scenario. The good news it the base is continuously welded to the upright for a nice solid feel. There are no gaps in the weld...which leads to the "might be concerning news", I don't see how water or moisture can escape out of the bottom if this is on a completely flush or flat surface. (which I am not---it's wood so not a concern).There are holes in the bottom which should allow water to flow out from rain, so it could be a moot point. However, I just wanted to mention this possibility. I'm not an engineer, but just something that caught my eye.However, for the price and what you get I think it's worth it and I recommend it.

Used these to dress up the replacement poles on our porch instead of purchasing decorative poles. Easy to install, really looks nice. Durable and our plain boards look great. Wonderful value for the money in the multi-pack. Functions well for ensuring the poles aren’t going anywhere!! Wonderful purchase!!

Beautiful but don't use the hardware that comes with. So far three tops of the screws have snapped off while installed.
