I looked for these at every local stores could think of but had no luck. Finally I contacted the manufacturer of my impact driver and asked them for help. They directed me to Amazon and even added a link to these little guys. I ordered them, got them next day, and used them right away. Some have told me they’re unnecessary, that they’re too much trouble, and that I should have bought a impact with a different style chuck. But I don’t care what they say. I use them, they’re no trouble for me, and I liked the impact I bought.The one down side is the pins are so easy to loose. Drop one and you could spend a while looking for it. It’s a good thing Amazon sells them in sets of 10 for a little over 5 bucks. It’s a small price to pay, so loosing a few is no big deal. Yes, you can use your impact wrench without them. But why not spend an extra 10 seconds to put it on and guarantee your saftey.
