4-5 oz Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Hide Full Grain
This vegetable tanned leather will go darken in shades over the years and with use - a process called patina. This veg tanned leather is susceptible to water, stains and exposure to sunlight.

Leather Thickness: 1.6 - 2.0mm. May have up to 0.2mm deviation exist - where only minimal area are affected.
Leather Color: Brown
Usage - Craft: Works great in making small leather goods and other various handcraft projects.
Conversion is based on 1 inch = 2.54cm

Please note that genuine leather is natural and part of an animal, scars and imperfections are all part of its character and personality. As every animal is different there aren't too identical pieces of leather in the world.
All leathers are trim by hand. Item Leather size may have deviation exist. (+/- 5mm)
All leathers may have smell for genuine leather, if you can not bear, please consider before buying.

I had purchased a knife slip for pocket knives from a reputable dealer. Unfortunately, it was discoloring my pocket knives. After doing some research, it appeared to be because the leather was chrome tanned.I can confirm after a few months of use that this is listing is indeed veg tanned leather. I have not had ANY discoloration of my pocket knives since I made my own custom knife slip using this leather.I am very happy with this purchase.That being said, it does explicitly list that this is "full grain" leather. I am not convinced this is the case. I believe this is more likely top grain or corrected leather. After carrying this leather in my pocket everyday for a few months, I've seen no evidence that this is full grain. Normally, you can see where the hair was removed on full grain leather. Top grain, on the other hand, is sanded or correct to have a more "pristine" look / finish.So, while I would recommend this product to others, I would caution that this is likely top grain and not full grain leather. The main thing I was looking for was affordable veg tanned leather, and this met that criteria. And so, I am still happy despite this most likely being top grain and not full grain leather.

I’ve been searching for a thin but real leather to laser engrave patches for my business hats. This is it! Thin enough where bends nicely around the hat but thick enough to where it looks like a thick quality patch

This stuff can’t be real leather. But it’s one of the better “leathers” I’ve worked with as far as cutting and engraving.

It’s good leather but for the love of God don’t send it in a roll!! It’s very hard to work with rolled leather and there is no straightening it out.

Having only just started in leather craft, this leather seemed to be well made. There were no imperfections in the hide that would give me issue. If I had any complaints, It would be that the leather seemed a little on the thin side, but I’m hesitant to say for sure because of my inexperience. Overall, I’ll order again!!
