Love the toe style, but the top part looks a bit frumpy from the side. I wish there was a buckle or something to hide the elastic section of the strap. I'm a true size 9 shoe, and my feet slide down into the shoe so I end up with a decent gap at the back. That could maybe be because I have slightly narrow feet though. They're super comfortable despite that. I see myself wearing them with loose linen pants or trousers instead of a dress so you don't see the top part.

In my profession, the dress code for female employees is a business suit or coordinating jacket and skirt with pumps or heels as footwear. Over the years, I have grown bored with the standard black, brown, and navy pumps with no special details. The unique look and style of the ankle strap heels caught my attention. These heels are offered in a variety of duo colors with an adorable small bow attached to the vamp. I chose the black and white color combination. Because I live in a hot and humid climate, these shoes will be appropriate to wear throughout most seasons. Both the toe and the heel are covered. The insole is soft with cushion for extra comfort. I am 5'5" and prefer a heel between 3"-3 1/2" for extra height. These heels measure 3 1/2". The height of the heel is appropriate for both business wear as well as personal wear for outings at a restaurant, show or special event. Even though the heel is a thin stiletto style, it is still supportive and comfortable. There is an elasticized strap at the ankle that blends nicely into the shoe. The elastic is smooth and easily stretches without pinching or binding the ankle. This elasticized strap is much more comfortable and flattering than the more common buckle strap. I normally recommend a 1/2 size up in heels. However, I ordered my usual size 7 1/2 and these shoes fit just right.I must walk back and forth on city blocks made of concrete and stone between offices for meetings daily and frequently. This causes wear and tear on shoes, especially the soles and the heel caps. I have worn these ankle strap heels several times and find them to be well made and durable. There has been no wear on the heel caps or scratches on the heels. The only sign of wear is on the soles of the shoes which show a few dark marks. These types of marks are inevitable when walking outdoors and most can be removed with a mild cleanser.The heels have a modern pointed toe that gives the illusion of a longer leg. The pointy tip surprisingly roomy and comfortably fits the toes. Be aware that the shoes have a particularly low toe line. As a reference, my fingers and toes are petite, yet the very top of my toes are still slightly visible at the toe line. The only other negative issue I have experienced wearing these heels is that while the ankle strap is very comfy and stretchy, the heels of my feet slip out of place at times.Overall, the quality, look and feel of these ankle strap shoes are a terrific buy at a great price.

I saw a pair of these at WHBM and fell in love with them but I didn't want to spend over $100 so I found these and they were about a quarter of the price and they are just as cute. I went up a half size and they fit perfect.
