One of the tightening nuts must have a bad sleeve as it locks up before it can tighten the jig. Fine at face value but the fact it can’t even tighten and hold itself in place makes it seem cheap. I doubt every product has this deficiency but roll the dice at your own peril, you’ve been warned.

The level of detail it can capture is very impressive. I used it to get accurate measurements when installing front columns of the house and needed support brackets inside before mounting the column wrap. The tool is versatile and the latch is tight so i could mark it off correctly
