Connecticut Electric manufactures new high quality replacement circuit breakers for Zinsco load centers that accept Zinsco Q style circuit breakers. Circuit breakers should only be replaced with new tested and Safety Agency Listed circuit breakers, never used or refurbished ones.

This 120 volt Zinsco 30 amp, single pole, thick series replacement circuit breaker is used in a Zinsco load center. Typical applications, up to 3,600 watts, include well pumps (up to 200'), bathroom heaters and electric motors (1-1/2 hp to 2 hp). These are only suggested applications and cannot assure compliance with all local codes. Please check local electrical codes before starting any electrical project.

A solid replacement for the original breaker type. They're a bit more expensive than more common Brands but it's cheaper than replacing the whole panel.

On the expensive side but definitely better quality than the original Zinsco breakers. Great holdover until I get around to replacing my old panel. Bought some extras for when the lever inevitably breaks on the old breakers.

CAUTION!!!! These breakers come in neither the ON or Off position! You need to switch them on and off several times BEFORE they will work properly. Especially the double pole breakers. One side worked fine 1st switch, but it took 3 more on/off switches to get other side working!

This product was defective right out of the package. It would not reset or stay on even with no load. Got a replacement breaker and it had the same problem right out of the package. I need a working Zinsco UBIZ30 breaker...

At local electrical supply warehouses these older breakers are VERY expensive. I bought this to replace one of a 2 pole breaker for my dryer. It worked great. The breaker can be switched to use either pole in your panel. Less than half the price as local prices.If I owned the house and didn't find this here I would replace the whole panel including all breakers for a few dollars more than just ONE of these breakers.
