This is a small sling for small pets. This feels like all natural fibers, and this is thick fabric that is mildly stretchy and soft. This has an adjustable shoulder strap. The strap is wide enough to be comfortable for extended uses. We use this for our small dachshunds. They are both around 10lbs, and either one fits well with good back support. This is good quality, and it works well.

I should’ve ordered this crossbody sling right from the start for my kitten who loves being carried around. Instead, I first tried a bulky basket-style carrier with back crisscrossing straps that were awkward to take on and off. I don’t know what I was thinking—this sling is a miniature version of the slings I used to carry my babies in for the first six months of their lives, until they got too heavy. My kitten won’t get more than 12 or 13 pounds full-grown because of her breed, so this sling is ”perrrrrfect” for her. I’ve never had a kitten this clingy, not that I’m complaining, she’s simply a lot bigger at 5 months than she was at 6 weeks. At first I carried her in one hand, then tucked her in the crook of my arm. Currently she’s become awkward to carry because of how long and lanky she is, and she flops around like a wet noodle when I try to carry her with only one hand & arm. With the sling she stays a bit more contained like a little loaf tucked in her bread basket, as my son says. I can rest just one hand on her body for added security, but she’s getting used to cozying up with just her head peaking out, while I go about my day. When she’s curled up in my lap and I need to get up, I just open the sling that’s already hanging across my body, slip her inside, and she’s perfectly content to go with me. Otherwise, she’s running around under my feet, crying because I put her down. This sling has made her current milestones more peaceful, and I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to carry around small animals that crave closeness and attention.
